Hello there, I'm Danielle! I live on the California coast with my super-swell husband, Jose. We have two ridiculous cats; Lily (who despite his name is a boy) and Sweeney.
By day, I work in an elementary school library where I shelve and recommend books, read stories, scan things, and tackle the odd art project. In college, I studied theatrical costume and makeup design. I like to draw and paint with watercolors, and I'm inspired by classic movie monsters, early twentieth century circuses and carnivals, the ocean, childrens' books, midcentury Disney concept art, and my kitties. My work has been featured in Uppercase Magazine and
Paperbrains Zine.
