Illustration Friday - Acrobat

I'm currently reading Geek Love (and loving it!), so when I saw that this week's theme for Illustration Friday was "acrobat," I knew right away that I wanted to work some eerie conjoined twins into the picture. I am actually really happy with how this looks, where as I'm often sort of "eh" about the work I turn out for the challenges, since I usually wait all week and then scramble to get them done. As usual, I'm posting this at the last possible second, so probably nobody will get to look at it.

Interestingly enough, I think the last time I did something for Illustration Friday, it also had to do with sweets. I even ate a piece of chocolate while painting this one. It looks so much better in person, but my scanner is kind of shabby.

I was a bit inspired by these old photos from Bride Magazine.

Super-Late Anniversary Photos

It has taken me forever to get around to editing the pictures Jose and I took for our second anniversary in July. I wasn't too excited with how they turned out at first (I am so awkward sometimes it's painful!), but I think they've grown on me. It's hard to be spontaneous and natural with a self-timer! Here are a few of my favorites.
